Why do our kids need wall art?

You know, I never thought about how important the visual side is in teaching children. But then the first paintings appeared in the children's room, and... how everything changed! Children began to pay more attention to details, ask questions. So you start thinking that wall art can actually be a great tool for development.

Choosing posters for a child's room

I sometimes notice how difficult it is to choose something universal, due to the huge number of options. A poster with animals? Or maybe a world map? Or maybe something abstract? When choosing, I thought about how such an element would affect the mood in the room. After all, it's not just paper, but an opportunity for creativity and imagination!

  • Posters with letters and numbers
  • Landscapes and nature motifs
  • Favorite cartoon characters

We once ordered a canvas print with an image of space. It was impressive! Every evening my son asked: "How is this... all arranged?" and it was simply joyful. How a picture can develop a question, interest!

Paintings as a source of inspiration

Once... even I, looking at a new poster in the room, was inspired to create something of my own. It feels like paintings not only contribute to children's development, but can also teach adults something new. Of course, there were times when something didn't fit. Or the color was wrong, or the theme wasn't to my liking - and that's okay. We are all different.

So if you have never thought about what to hang on the wall in your child's room, think about paintings. They are like windows into another world, an opportunity for every child to explore and fantasize. And, again, it is very important that the picture inspires!
