Oh, Las Vegas!

I was in Las Vegas recently and I can tell you that it's not just about the casinos and bright lights. Although unusual, I was most impressed by the wall art there. Somehow the city manages to combine crazy energy with art on the street.
Can you imagine? Pictures just hang on the walls of buildings, and you walk down the street and forget where you are - in a gallery or on a walk?

Art at every step

Step by step, and each time you stumble upon something new. It's some kind of incredible kaleidoscope - posters and canvas prints decorate the interiors of restaurants and cafes. Sometimes you sit there, order a coffee, and on the wall in front of you are portraits, landscapes, whatever else they have hanging there. And most importantly, they create an atmosphere, it immediately becomes more cozy.

  • The bars and restaurants of Las Vegas are truly unique - they know how to turn art into part of the interior.
  • Graffiti has naturally taken its place in the public consciousness and art.
  • Things like art galleries on the street immerse viewers in a new unique world.

If I were told to study art, I would probably start with Vegas. Everything there breathes this atmosphere! I remember how I couldn’t move away from one painting on the wall near the gallery for a long time, I just wanted to stand and look. Maybe it sounds weird, but art should evoke emotions, right?

Posters on buildings feel like an element of something bigger, they seem to reveal the inner character of the city. Well, a true hero city where multi-page stories about people, love and life are told through every brushstroke of paint. I guess that's what I love about Vegas - unexpected finds, and trust me, its mural art is something to behold.
