Rio de Janeiro: my view on wall art and posters

When I think of Rio de Janeiro... the first thing that comes to mind is the sea, carnivals and the incredible energy of this place. But then, one day, walking along the streets of this city, I suddenly discovered its other side. Wall art! You know, I was not prepared for this at all. Damn, it was just wow! Murals on buildings... They spoke to you in an understandable language, straight to the heart. Colorful, chaotic and, sometimes, completely unrelated, but together they formed a unique picture of the city. Honestly, I have never seen anything like this. Every corner, every wall is a canvas with a soul.

Posters and their power

And then there are these small posters that are literally everywhere. At bus stops, in cafes and just on the walls. Rio style - it's so lively, so noisy and bright. You see one poster - you see the whole culture. It's no wonder that many people take ideas from there for the interiors of their homes. You probably thought that I was exaggerating a little. But honestly... it caught my attention. There was a poster - straightforward, bright, like the city itself.

  • Mountain panoramas
  • Colorful images of samba dancers
  • Abstract canvases

Sometimes you want to take a piece of this place home. And what would convey the atmosphere better than, for example, a canvas print? That's what we thought, to be honest.

Every time I look at the painting hung there, in my living room, in Rio, I feel like I'm there again. Little things, really, make our world richer. By the way, yes, about the paintings, they seem to ask: "Do you know what it's like to be here every day?" And it seems that something more is hidden inside the creativity, something... special. And in general, the people there - they themselves are like works of art. So open and sincere.

Rio de Janeiro changes the perception of art. Really, try it and see for yourself. It's worth seeing, it's worth experiencing.
