Washington is an inspiring city with its landscapes, and it is so natural to see its mountains and forests on canvas prints. Every detail speaks of the grandeur of nature.
Love for Washington on the Wall
You know, I've recently become so fascinated with wall art. Especially canvas prints and posters that convey the spirit of Seattle or the Olympic Mountains. At first I thought it was just a passing fancy, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for in my home! Lately I've been thinking a lot about how to depict the beauty of our state through paintings. My eyes are constantly drawn to posters with views of Mount Rainier, you know, all those deep greens and blues... They're so real, it's like the picture on the wall comes to life. But sometimes I argue with myself - which is better, a poster or a canvas? It's hard to choose just one, to be honest.
Why is wall art inspiring?
- Connection with nature - a painting or poster can remind you of hiking and walking.
- Emotions - they evoke the right feelings, create coziness.
- Uniqueness - you never know what memories a new find will bring you.
Sometimes the idea goes around in my head that every home should have at least one painting that conveys its soul. For example, I recently saw an incredible poster in a friend's house depicting a decent walk through the Olympic Park. It seems like a simple thing, but it makes the space so alive. Do you agree, it's magic? I even thought about doing something similar in my bedroom... Or the corner where I work.
Oh, and one more thing! Surely, if someone wrote songs about Washington, they wouldn't be able to do without a visual in the form of that very canvas print or painting about them. Because when you look at this local art, you get inspired. Even if they are confused, but such familiar feelings inside. Somehow it is so. Do you recommend adding more? Or leaving this simplicity? Perhaps it's time to delve into this seriously...
