About Hipsters

This is the corner of the shop where beards meet bicycles. Hipsters wall art pulls together the look a lot of people grew up around in the 2010s: penny-farthing silhouettes, vintage cameras, typewriters, fixed-gear bikes, retro eyeglasses, and a fox or two wearing a bow tie. The mood is dry and a little self-aware. Most of these prints lean on muted color, hand-drawn linework, and old-paper texture, so they sit well in a room that already has some character to it.

I like hanging these in spaces that don't take themselves too seriously. A coffee corner, a home office with a record player, a rented flat where you want personality without committing to wallpaper. The line drawings and small ironic icons read clearly from across the room, and the typographic pieces (think hand-lettered quotes and bold sans-serif posters) give you something to actually read while the kettle boils.

What hangs well in this collection

If you want one focal piece, a larger canvas of a bearded portrait or a bicycle illustration carries a wall on its own. If you'd rather build a gallery, the smaller icon prints group nicely in threes and fours. Because the palette here stays calm, hipster art mixes easily with the more earthy stuff over in Nature & Landscapes, and the cheeky animal-in-glasses pieces pair with the straight illustrations in Animals if you want a wall that's half joke, half decor.

Formats and a note on getting it home

Every design comes three ways: canvas stretched on a real wood frame, an unframed poster you can slot into your own frame, and a poster set behind glass for a cleaner finish. Sizes run from 16x12 up to 40x30 inches, so you can do a small desk print or a wall-filling statement. A 20x16 canvas is $69 and posters start at $29. We print with eco-friendly ink and ship flat in a fitted box rather than a tube, so the corners arrive sharp and ready to hang straight out of the packaging.
