About Orchids

An orchid is the slow, patient kind of bloom - the arching stem, the row of waxy petals that seem to float, the strange little throat at the center of each flower. Our orchid wall art leans into that quiet drama. Some prints keep a single white phalaenopsis against a dark ground so the petals almost glow; others go close and botanical, showing the speckles and the lip of a moth orchid in full detail. The mood is calm and a touch formal, which is why people tend to hang these in bedrooms, bathrooms, and the corner of an office where they want something soft to look at.

How the orchid prints come

Each piece is available three ways. There is canvas stretched over a real wood frame, ready to hang straight out of the fitted box. There is a plain poster you can frame yourself, with prints starting at $29. And there is a poster set behind glass for a cleaner, framed look. Sizes run from 16x12 up to 40x30 inches, so one stem can sit modestly above a nightstand or stretch wide over a bath.

I like the pale orchids best in a room with warm light - they read as elegant without trying too hard. We print with eco-friendly ink that holds the soft pinks and creams these flowers depend on. If orchids are part of a wider plan, browse the rest of our Flowers art, or pair them with the bolder color of Roses for contrast on a gallery wall.
