Somali Cat Wall Art

A Somali cat caught in a brush on a canvas print seems to come to life on the wall. Its graceful profile and fluffy tail add warmth and charm to the room.

About Somali Cat

The Somali is the long-haired cousin of the Abyssinian, and our Somali cat wall art leans into the two things that make the breed look like a small fox: the ticked, warm-red coat and that ridiculous plume of a tail. Most of these pieces catch a cat mid-stretch or sitting alert with big almond eyes, ears tipped forward, fur lit so each band of color shows. I like the ones where the tail is the loudest thing in the frame.

The mood here is soft and a little playful, which makes these prints land well in a reading nook, a bedroom, or any quiet corner where you want something warm rather than loud. People who already share a home with a ruddy or sorrel Somali tend to pick these out fast, and they pair nicely with the rest of our Cats art if you want a little gallery of breeds. If you love a big fluffy face, the Maine Coon Cat prints sit comfortably beside these.

How the prints come

Each design comes three ways: canvas stretched on a real wood frame, a plain unframed poster, or a poster set behind glass. Sizes run from 16x12 up to 40x30 inches, so a small Somali can perch over a desk or take a whole wall. A 20x16 canvas is $69. We print with eco-friendly ink and pack everything flat in a fitted box so no corners get crushed. For more of that thick, regal coat look, the Persian Cat collection is worth a scroll too.
